November, 2006  Rita and I were invited to join several friends on a week long cruise to four of the Hawaiian islands (Oahu, Hawaii, Maui and Kauai).  We all met up in Waikiki, boarded Norwegian Cruise Lines "Pride of America" and explored this tropical paradise.  The cruise was a perfect way to experience the diversity of the islands.  Like a floating hotel, we woke up each morning to spend a day or two at a new location.  I highly recommend this approach to anyone who hasn't been to Hawaii.  It's cheaper than flying between the islands and NCL provides a great deal of flexibility to their passengers (freestyle cruising).  Eat whenever you want, come and go as you please.
